50 States is an educational Flash game developed by Leadpipe Games & Addicting Games. It was published to Addicting Games on January 2, 2007.
Although Flash was discontinued on January 12 2021, 50 states is still playable through BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint.
Gameplay[]
In this game, the player has to drag and place the American states onto the map as close as possible to the location of that state. When the player has dragged a state on to the map and placed it, they will be informed of how many miles away they were from the actual location, which will be highlighted in red. As the player drags more states on to the map, their average mile error will be calculated and player's should aim for this to be as low as possible by placing each state in the right location.

The player has to drag states with their mouse to where they think they belong. Once the player lets go of the state, the game will tell them if they are wrong and by how many miles.
