Gameplay[]
In Alien Hominid, the player controls a yellow alien who crash lands their UFO on earth and has the FBI hunting them down. The player is armed with a ray gun and must defend themselves from the hordes of FBI agents who are all armed with firearms. The gameplay in Alien Hominid is extremely fast paced, due to the amount of enemies on screen at one time, the player must not only successfully kill all enemies but also dodge all of their bullets utilising ducking and jumping manoeuvres which can make for a challenging experience.
At the end of each chapter, the player will face a boss, which can take far more damage than regular FBI agents and have special attacks. The player starts the game with a total of ten lives, and one bullet will kill the player upon making contact with them. The game features various powerups that can spawn on the ground for the player to pick up such as bigger bullets that will pierce through multiple enemies and bullets that will set enemies on fire.
