Battle Blocks Defense is a strategy Flash game developed by Ninja Kiwi in 2011. It combines elements of a puzzle game and a tower defense game as your goal is to match colored blocks together to create towers that will stop incoming waves of enemies from attacking your kingdom.

Gameplay[]
In Battle Blocks Defense, your task is to place colored blocks down on a field in front of your kingdom. Once these blocks are set down, they turn into towers that help you ward off the invaders as they try to approach your kingdom by marching down the field. Furthermore, combining blocks of the same color in a 3x3 square will create a super tower which is much more powerful than its normal counterpart. You can also scrap towers you don't need anymore to generate metal, which is used to repair towers that have been damaged by enemies.
The goal is to use your towers and special abilities to withstand the invasion long enough to survive all 50 waves. Once you beat the 50th wave, you have the option to continue playing in Free Mode to see how long you can last. If too many enemies make it to your castle, the game is lost, but your progress is saved every 5 waves and you can start again from the most recent checkpoint you reached.
Towers[]
- Red Tower: Shoots rockets straight ahead.
- Super Red Tower: Locks onto enemies and shoots at then directly, and deals more damage than a Red Tower.
- Green Tower: Creates an energy barrier around itself, letting it withstand many hits from enemies.
- Super Green Tower: Can withstand much more hits from enemies.
- Blue Tower: Constantly generates energy for your kingdom, allowing you to use special abilities.
- Super Blue Tower: Generates larger amounts of energy.
- Purple Tower: Shoots laser beams at nearby enemies. Only becomes available after beating Wave 20.
- Super Purple Tower: Can shoot lasers at enemies from much further away, and deals more damage.
Special Abilities[]
- Slow Time: Temporarily slows down all enemies.
- Firestorm: Sends waves of fire surging down every row on the field.
Enemies[]
- Soldier: A basic enemy that just walks forward and takes one hit to kill. First appears on Wave 1.
- Sprinter: Runs much faster than a Soldier. First appears on Wave 3.
- Shielder: Carries a shield and takes multiple hits to kill. First appears on Wave 4.
- Bomber: Carries a bomb and self-destructs if he touches a tower, damaging all towers within a 3x3 blast radius. First appears on Wave 7.
- Air Soldier: Uses rocket boots to fly above your towers. First appears on Wave 9.
- Bombardier: Carries a bazooka and sometimes shoots a rocket at your towers. First appears on Wave 10.
- Behemoth: A huge enemy that moves slowly but takes many hits to kill. First appears on Wave 12.
