Bloons is a game series created by Ninja Kiwi. The series at large revolves around the ever-lasting war between a civilization of intelligent monkeys and an army of sentient balloons called Bloons. By far the most well-known games within this series are the Bloons Tower Defense (or Bloons TD) games, a set of tower defense games in which your task is to place monkeys on a map to fight against incoming waves of Bloons that try to go down the path to reach the map's exit. However, the series also covers several other genres, including puzzle games and shmup games, among others. The very first game of the series is called "Bloons", a puzzle balloon-popping game released on March 27, 2007.
