Bloons Pop 3 (or Bloons Pop Three) is a game in the Bloons series, developed by Ninja Kiwi. It's a casual matching game where you have to match Bloons in groups of three to score points.
Gameplay[]
In Bloons Pop 3, you're presented with a board of Bloons that come in seven different colors, and have to swap the Bloons around to make matches by arranging at least three Bloons of the same color in a horizontal or vertical line to pop them. When a match is made, more Bloons will come in from below to fill the spaces left by the ones that were popped. Some Bloons have special powers that can be triggered when you match them; most of these powers cause even more Bloons to be popped, increasing the potential to get great combos. If you have trouble finding a match, you can buy hints for 200 points each. The game ends if you wind up running out of possible matches to make.
Special Bloons[]
- Tack Bloon: Shoots a volley of tacks in eight directions, popping all Bloons adjacent to it.
- Spiky Bloon: Drops a spiky ball when popped, popping all Bloons below it.
- Lightsaber Bloon: Spawns a lightsaber that extends horizontally in both directions when popped, popping any Bloon the lightsaber touches.
- Popcorn Bloon: Gives you extra points when popped.
Trivia[]
- Despite its name being Bloons Pop 3, there is no Bloons matching game that came before this one.
- The Popcorn Bloon is also called the Hotcorn Bloon by fans due to its design being a reference to Hotcorn, another game made by Ninja Kiwi.
- One of the seven Bloon colors in this game is orange; this makes Bloons Pop 3 the only Bloons game in the entire series to have an Orange Bloon so far.
- This is also the only game in the series to feature the Popcorn Bloon.
