Bloons Super Monkey is an arcade shooting game developed by Ninja Kiwi, where you take control of a Super Monkey and fly around different areas to pop the Bloons that are invading the monkeys' territory.
Gameplay[]
Bloons Super Monkey has 15 levels spread across five worlds, all played one after another marathon-style. In each level, you use the cursor to move the Super Monkey around while he automatically throws darts (along with other weapons once upgraded) at a high speed. As the Super Monkey flies forth, Bloons come onto the screen in various formations, and you have to pop as many of them as you can as they fly by. When popped, Bloons release pieces of currency called Power Blops that can be collected for spending on upgrades during or in between levels. Occasionally, a popped Bloon will also drop a power-up that will help you when collected.
The goal of each level is to pop enough Bloons to earn at least a Bronze Trophy in order to advance to the next level; if you don't earn a trophy by the time a level ends, the game is lost and you have to start over from the beginning.
Worlds[]
- Grassland: A grassy plain set in the countryside. Its levels contain simple formations made up of weak Bloons, ranging from Reds to Greens.
- Jungle: An area deep within a dense jungle. Its levels contain slightly more complex formations that introduce stronger Bloons, including Yellows, Pinks, and even Ceramics.
- Glacier: An icy wasteland set somewhere in a polar region. Its levels contain fairly tricky formations consisting of a mix between all the Bloon variants seen in the previous two worlds, along with Rainbow Bloons joining the fray.
- Volcano: A barren, rocky area overrun with lava. Its levels contain very elaborate formations, some of which include the dreaded MOABs.
- Space: An area set deep in outer space. Its levels contain extremely confounding formations, all culminating to a final boss fight with the almighty BFB in the last stage.
Trophies[]
- Bronze Trophy: The basic trophy. Achieved by popping at least 33% of all the Bloons in a level.
