Gameplay[]

2-4 players compete in a single screen arena with a randomised wall layout. 2 Player local play is supported with two sets of controls on the same device, whilst the other players are ai-controlled. Unlike the first installment, local players compete against each other.
Players are equipped with bombs which can be placed on the player's current tile. These explode in a cross pattern after a countdown, destroying walls, other players and items. Bombs are also set off when in contact with another explosion. Weapons, vehicles and other power-ups spawn around the arena periodcially and also have a chance of appearing on the destruction of a wall.
Games can be set to last 5, 10, 15 or 20 levels under an easy, normal, or hard difficulty. In addition to the conditions dictated by gamemode, the player loses a level if the 180 second timer reaches 0. Upon losing, the same level is repeated.
