Boss Level Shootout is an html5 retro styled shooting game developed by Maksim Eliseenko (Miniduck) and published by Armor Games and Friv.

Description[]

You are inside a retro game.

Watch out for sharp pixel enemies and hit the boss!

Gamer boy Billy loved to play video games and one day his retro console ate him.

Now Billy is inside the game and has to hit all bosses.

Defeat all bosses, each one has different abilities and behaviors.

Gameplay[]

You play as a Gamer named Billy, who got sucked into his Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and now you must fight bosses and defeat them all. You can upgrade your weapon and health to make it easier to do this. There a total of 9 levels, with 9 bosses.

Upgrades[]

There are two different upgrades you can upgrade: Your gun and your health. Your health helps you survive longer and your gun helps you kill bosses easier. The upgrades are:

2nd Gun Upgrade Shoots Red bullets, which does more damage, fires faster and auto aims. 300
2nd Gun Upgrade (Boss Level Shootout)
3rd Gun Upgrade Does the same thing as the 2nd Gun Upgrade, except it shoots 2 bullets at once instead of one, further increasing the damage. 350
3rd Gun Upgrade (Boss Level Shootout)
4th Gun Upgrade Does the same thing as 2nd and 3rd gun upgrades, except it shoots 3 bullets instead of 1 or 2, increasing the damage heavily. 400

Regular Enemies[]

The regular enemies are different from Bosses because you cannot damage them, instead they damage you. All of them are unique in their own way, each using a different method of attacking you. The enemies are:

Miniature Spiked Square Being Thrown by a Rectangle Shaped boss in groups, then going down in patterns. 3, 9
Miniature Spike Square (Boss Level Shootout Enemy)
Ghost Square Being Thrown by a boss, then explodes into two miniature red ghost squares after a bit that damage you. Note, the Ghost Square itself cannot damage you, only the red squares. 5
Ghost Square (Boss Level Shootout Enemy)
Miniature Red Ghost Squares Two Miniature Red Ghost Squares spawn only when a Ghost Square explodes or if the boss in level 8 smashed the ground. They always spawn in two. 5, 8
Miniature Red Ghost Squares (Boss Level Shootout Enemy)
Miniature Red Squares These Squares attack either upward in level 6 or downward in level 7 when the boss summons them. They come in packs of 16. 6, 7

Bosses[]

There a total of 9 bosses in this game, each one with their own level. As you progress through the levels, the bosses will get stronger and stronger, making it harder to win. None of the bosses have names, so they are simply called Boss and have a number next to them depending on what level they come from. They are:

Boss 2 Armored Throws Spiked Square Dino's that charge at you in whatever direction your in, either left or right.
Orange Armored Boss Square (Boss Level Shootout Boss)
Boss 3 Normal Throws Groups of Miniature Spiked Squares and Sometimes throws rockets to use against him.
Rectangle Boss (Boss Level Shootout)
Boss 4 Armored Throws Spiked Squares, and Spiked Square Dinos.
Green Armored Boss Square (Boss Level Shootout)
Boss 5 Normal Throws Ghost Squares only.

Boss 6 Normal Rains One Spike Square every once in a while and launches 16 Miniature Red Squares upwards.
Button Boss Square (Boss Level Shootout Boss)
Boss 7 Armored Rains Miniature Red Squares only.
Red Armored Boss Square (Boss Level Shootout Boss)
Boss 8 Normal Launches Two Miniature Red Ghost Squares out of his mouth when smashing the ground and throws Spiked Square Dinos. His face changes when he smashed the ground.

Boss 9 Normal Throws patterns of Miniature Spiked Squares downwards and sometimes throws rockets which can be used to attack Boss 9.
Rectangle Boss (Boss Level Shootout)

Trivia[]

  • There is a thing where if you press the c button when a boss is dead and your gun is maxed, the gun will turn red briefly. You can keep doing this multiple times.
  • Boss 1, 5 and 8 look exactly the same. Boss 3 and 9 are also the exact same.
