Gameplay[]
In Bowman, the player controls an archer who is armed with a bow and arrow. The player’s main objective is to eliminate their opponent by utilising their bow and arrow, which is done by holding down the left mouse click in order to draw the arrow. After the arrow is drawn, numbers denoting the angle and trajectory of the arrow are displayed on screen and the player can move the arrow towards and away from their character in order to draw back the bow further or less respectively. The arc of the arrow can also be controlled by moving the mouse up and down.
Once the player lets go of the left mouse click, the arrow will be released and fly towards the opponent. Since bowman is a turn based game, the player can only shoot one arrow at a time before their opponent fires an arrow at them. The player can play against an AI opponent or another player locally. There is also a practice mode available for player’s to practice their archery.
