Description[]
After years of chaos and global corruption the world has now become a perilous place. Food is scarce and everyone must fight for their survival. As for you, your adventure starts where it all ended.
Gameplay[]
In Decay of Men, the player has to gather essential resources at a variety of locations in order to complete their objectives and progress through the game. Once the player chooses a location to visit, they will have to clear out all of the enemy soldiers in the area before they are able to start gathering the resources they need, including ammunition, so it is in the player's best interesting to conserve ammo as much as possible in the early game. The shooting takes place from an over the shoulder style view and although the player cannot move from their vantage point, they can look around the area from left to right. The player has to balance killing soldiers, trying to take out soldiers at long range with multiple shots and taking cover when under fire in order to survive.
Once the player has cleared out an area, if they have saved any civilians, they are able to trade with them for resources and supplies. Stones can also be collected throughout the game in order to upgrade the player's equipment.
