Gun Fox vs Monster Boss is a shooting game developed by Kipper Digital and published by Max Games on June 10, 2014. It centers around a gun-wielding fox hero who sets out to save the city from his nemesis, a supergenius mole called Monster Boss, along with the villain's army of minions.

Gameplay[]
The game has a series of 30 levels where you have to fight off swarms of enemies in order to climb up the skyscraper that Monster Boss has claimed as his own. There are many different enemy types that attack in a variety of different ways and each require a different strategy to defeat. Defeated enemies drop coins, which you can use to buy upgrades between levels. Once all enemies in a level have been defeated, you get to go on to the next level and receive a bonus consisting of coins and pick-ups depending on how well you did; otherwise, if you run out of health, you can either try again from your most recent check point or restart the level you died on in exchange for some coins.
Every five levels, you fight a battle against Monster Boss himself; once you beat him, a checkpoint is activated.
Items[]
- Coin: Gives you a coin.
- Diamond: Gives you five coins.
- Heart: Restores one health point.
- Bomb: Gives you an extra bomb.
Bonus Crates[]
There are three criteria that determine which type of bonus crate you get at the end of a level: not taking any damage, not letting any enemies escape, and beating the level quickly. The more criteria you meet, the better the bonus crate.
- Cardboard Crate: Awarded at the end of a level if you didn't meet any of the criteria. Contains a small amount of items.
- Wooden Crate: Awarded at the end of a level if you met one of the criteria. Contains a moderate amount of items.
- Golden Crate: Awarded at the end of a level if you met two of the criteria. Contains a large amount of items.
- Treasure Chest: Awarded at the end of a level if you met all three of the criteria. Contains a very large amount of items.

The upgrades in this game take the form of a series of upgrade trees, wherein buying an upgrade from one of a tree's tiers unlocks the next tier, but you can only buy one upgrade from each tier.

Enemies[]
General Tips[]
- You can slide into most enemies on the ground to knock them into the air, allowing you to shoot them from below.
- Most enemies carry armor that can be destroyed, but it takes five shots to destroy the armor.
- Some enemies will occasionally peek out from under their armor while on the ground; shooting an enemy while he's peeking will kill him instantly.
- Bombs are good for killing multiple enemies and can even destroy extra-tough metal armor that your gun's shots can't penetrate.
Enemy Types[]
- Basic Mook: Glides downward and lands on the ground, hiding in his armor. He'll sometimes emerge from the armor to walk around for a few seconds before tucking back into his armor. First seen on Level 1.
- Para Mook: Carries parachute-like armor that he constantly flips downward to block your shots. Once he gets close to the ground, he'll start flying to the side to try to escape the level. First seen on Level 3.
- Metal Mook: Carries metal armor that can't be destroyed by bullets. Once he hits the ground, he holds the armor in front of him and jumps towards you, trying to ram into you. First seen on Level 6.
- Roller Mook: Is encased in a spherical full-body suit of armor. Drops from the sky and then quickly rolls away after a few seconds. First seen on Level 7.
- Saucer Mook: Pilots a flying saucer and tries to drop fire bombs on you. First seen on Level 8.
- Shield Mook: Instead of armor, carries a shield that grows spikes when he hits the ground. Once he hits the ground, he holds the shield in front of him and chases you around, trying to hit you with the spikes. First seen on Level 11.
- Bomb Mook: Carries explosive armor that explodes once he hits the ground, sending flames surging across the ground. First seen on Level 13.
- Turret Mook: Pilots a turret that drops from the sky and constantly shoots homing missiles at you. To destroy the turret, you have to take out the pilot by either jumping above the turret and firing downward at the pilot himself, or hitting the pilot with a bomb. First seen on Level 16.
- Gun Mook: Has no armor, but carries a gun and constantly shoots downward as he falls. Each shot propels him upwards, but he'll gradually get closer to the ground and will stand still and sometimes shoot at you once he hits the ground. First seen on Level 18.
- Fire Mook: Sometimes shoots a fireball directly below as he glides downward. Once he hits the ground, he hides in his armor, sometimes peaking out to release a short-ranged flame surge across the ground. First seen on Level 22.
- Basic Metal Mook: Same as a Basic Mook, but his armor is made of metal. First seen on Level 23.
- Turret Mook 2.0: A Turret Mook that falls upside down, requiring you to slide into it to flip the turret so that the pilot becomes vulnerable to your shots. First seen on Level 24.
Boss Encounters[]
Battle 1 (Level 5)[]
In this battle, Monster Boss ambushes you with his battle mech, which is outfitted with two missile launchers that constantly fire slow-moving homing missiles. The mech has two weak points in the form of green glass domes, and they're both protected by Basic Mooks which you have to knock off and kill. Additionally, extra enemies (mostly Basic Mooks and Metal Mooks) will constantly drop in to serve as backup. Once both weak points on Monster Boss's mech are destroyed, he'll retreat, but you'll still have to defeat any remaining enemies left in the level before you can move on.
Battle 2 (Level 10)[]
In this battle, Monster Boss's mech is outfitted with a pair of giant arms in addition to its standard missile launchers, making it take considerably longer to defeat him; to compensate for this, no extra enemies will enter the battle. Monster Boss can use the mech's arms to attack you by slamming the arms onto the ground.
Each arm has seven weak points - two on the forearm and five on the fist; the ones on the fists are also protected by Basic Mooks. Once all seven weak points on an arm are destroyed, the arm itself will fall off, leaving the shoulder blade. The shoulder blades each have a weak point of their own, but they also sometimes drip lava, so make sure to dodge the lava and shoot the weak points when they emerge. When the shoulder blades' weak points are destroyed, they fall off, leaving the mech's bare body which has two more weak points; destroy these final weak points to finish the battle.
Battle 3 (Level 15)[]
This battle features Monster Boss's basic mech again, but with some improvements. The mech now features a bomb porthole on its torso that sometimes drops fire bombs. Additionally, stronger enemies such as Shield Mooks will show up in this battle.
Battle 4 (Level 20)[]
This battle features Monster Boss's upgraded mech from Level 10, this time stronger than before. The weak points on the mech's forearms are now protected by Shield Mooks. Monster Boss can also slam the mech's torso onto the ground, and when the mech only has one arm left, he can swing the arm across the ground to try to hit you.
Battle 5 (Level 25)[]
This battle features Monster Boss's basic mech again, now with even more modifications. The mech now has a laser turret that sometimes shoots a solid laser beam at you, and even stronger enemies such as Bomb Mooks and Saucer Mooks appear in this battle.
Final Battle (Level 30)[]
This last battle features Monster Boss's upgraded mech again, now at its strongest. The mech still has its laser turret from Level 25, but now the solid laser beam also leaves a trail of flames in its wake. It also fires homing missiles and attacks with its arms more often than normal.
