Hunt or Die! is an adventure Flash game developed and published by Ninja Kiwi. It has you play as a bow-wielding caveman trying to survive in the wilderness.

Controls[]

  • WASD: Move
  • Mouse: Aim and shoot arrows
  • Escape: Quit to main menu

Gameplay[]

Hence the title of the game, you need to explore the wilderness and hunt creatures, or else you'll die. As you explore the land, you'll run into all sorts of different creatures; initially, you'll only find docile animals that aren't too hard to kill, but as you go further you'll run into more and more dangerous beasts that would be happy to make a meal out of you. The game also features dozens of achievements to obtain, as well as a final boss to challenge if you make it far enough in the game's vast, expansive world.

Throughout the game, you have an energy meter that is constantly draining. To keep it filled, you have to kill creatures and eat them to replenish your energy. You also have to take care not to let your potential prey attack you, as getting hit will also take away a significant portion of your energy. The game ends when you run out of energy, but you can restore your progress at one of the checkpoints that show up occasionally in the world.
