Mad Truckers is an action game developed by Gameteam.com (now known as Gametop) and released on Newgrounds in 2007. It has you driving a truck down freeways to deliver goods on time while avoiding traffic and warding off enemies.

Controls[]

  • Left/Right: Steer left/right
  • Up: Accelerate
  • Down: Slow down

Gameplay[]

Mad Truckers has you play through a series of levels where your goal is to reach the end of the road before the time runs out and without running out of health. Each level gets progressively longer, and most of them feature hazards and enemies that can get in your way as you try to get to your destination. Most of these enemies can be defeated by knocking them off the road with your trailer, as you only lose health if the enemies hit the actual truck. If you run out of time or health, the game is lost and you'll have to start over from the beginning.

Levels[]

  1. Grocery Delivery: Your uncle has given you a job to deliver some fresh groceries before they become unmarketable. The level is short and no enemies appear. You have 2 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  2. Fruit Delivery: A man in need of assistance has offered you a contract to deliver a load of fruit for him. This level is slightly longer and the road has potholes that may damage your truck, but there are still no enemies present. You have 2 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  3. Pipe Delivery: A customer has hired you to deliver a load of water pipes. Unfortunately, though, a rival company has decided to begin interfering with your deliveries in order to try to steal your business. This level is longer than the previous two and introduces Landmines. You have 2 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  4. Appliance Delivery: The rival company is continuing to harass you as you attempt to deliver some household appliances. This level is similar to Level 3, but with more Landmines. You have 2 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  5. Porcelain Delivery: Business is booming and you've been tasked with delivering a load of porcelain, but the rival company is now trying harder to mess with your operations. This level introduces Rival Trucks. You have 2 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  6. Medical Delivery: You've got an express delivery for medical equipment to a hospital, but the rival company is still trying to take you out. This level is even longer and introduces Rival Cars. You have 3 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  7. Lumber Delivery: The rival company is preparing to ambush you on the road as you try to deliver a load of lumber to a nearby town. This level has lots of potholes and traffic barriers as the road is in bad shape. You have 3 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  8. Medical Delivery 2: You have another load of medical equipment to deliver, all while having to contend with some particularly reckless and unpredictable drivers hired by the rival company to cut you out of the picture. This level introduces Bomber Cars and Dump Trucks. You have 3 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  9. Chemical Delivery: Your good reputation has started earning you bigger contracts with more important goods to deliver, such as the chemical tanker you need to deliver. Unfortunately, this has motivated the rival company to try even harder to sabotage your delivery. This level introduces Gun Cars. You have 4 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  10. Oil Delivery: You have to drop off some oil to a local gas station, and the road is being heavily patrolled by the rival company's henchmen. This level introduces Proximity Mines. You have 4 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  11. Construction Delivery: A truck that was supposed to deliver construction equipment has broken down, so now you have to bring the equipment to the construction site. You have 4 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  12. Tanker Delivery: You have to deliver a tanker to the next town over; it's going to be an overnight trip and the rival company is leaping at the chance to ambush you in the darkness. You have 5 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  13. Soap Delivery: There's a load of soap that needs to be delivered to a nearby city as soon as possible, but the road is in awful condition. This level has no other vehicles whatsoever until near the end, but there are lots of potholes, traffic barriers, and Proximity Mines. Armored Trucks first appear in this level. You have 6 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  14. Spare Part Delivery: The rival company is on the verge of bankruptcy and is now very desperate to intercept your latest delivery, which is a load of spare parts to be delivered to a very big contractor. You have 7 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.
  15. Big Contract Delivery: You are about to deliver your biggest, most lucrative contract yet, so the rival company spent the last of its money to send all of its cronies after you on the road. Pull this one off and the rival company will be out of commission for good. You have 7 minutes, 5 seconds to finish the level.

Enemies[]

  • Landmine: Stationary hazard that explodes if you run it over.
  • Rival Truck: A truck sent by the rival company to dispose of you. It tails you and will try to push you off the road, but can be defeated by hitting it with your trailer. Some Rival Trucks can also drop exploding barrels on the road if they wind up in front of you.
  • Rival Car: Behaves similarly to a Rival Truck, but moves faster and is harder to hit due to its smaller size.
  • Bomber Car: Drives more erratically than a Rival Car and can drop bombs on the road if it gets in front of you.
  • Dump Truck: Behaves similarly to a Rival Truck, but is harder to push off the road due to its larger size.
  • Gun Car: Follows you on the road and shoots at you when it's next to you.
  • Proximity Mine: An improved Landmine that explodes if you get close to it.
  • Armored Truck: Behaves similarly to a Rival Truck, but is more durable.

  • The level theme for this game would later be reused for Monster Truck Rampage, another one of Gametop's racing games.
  • there is a glitch were the player can drive through buildings if they veer off the road .
