Penguinz is a shooting sidescroller Flash game where you play as a penguin trying to survive against hordes of enemies in a free-for-all war that broke out across Antarctica.

Gameplay[]
Penguinz is a marathon of combat-oriented levels where the goal is to survive against incoming enemies until the timer hits 0; after that point, enemies will stop spawning and you just have to kill all remaining enemies in the level to win. Between levels, you're given the opportunity to buy upgrades from a shop to improve your current weapons and unlock new ones using the money earned from defeated enemies. Every few levels, you'll encounter a boss that has to be defeated in order to move on. To win the game, you have to make it to the last level and defeat the final boss.
Pick-Ups[]
- Money: Gives you money.
- Ammo: Gives you more ammo.
- Health: Restores more of your health.
Weapons[]
- Pistol: A basic handgun that shoots bullets at a mediocre rate.
- Desert Eagle: A stronger handgun that does more damage.
- Uzi: A submachine gun that does even more damage and has a decent fire rate.
- AK47: An assault rifle that has a fast fire rate, and can be upgraded to sometimes launch grenades.
- Shotgun: A rifle that shoots a cluster of bullets at close range, dealing heavy damage to nearby enemies.
- M16: A military rifle that has a very fast fire rate, but is somewhat accurate. Can be upgraded to have laser sight.
- Rocket Launcher: Launches rockets that explode on impact and deal heavy damage. Can be upgraded to instead shoot exploding penguins that do even more damage.
- Gatling Gun: A heavy gun that has an extremely fast fire rate.
- Chainsaw: A melee weapon that deals very heavy damage at close range.
Enemies[]
- Penguin Miner: A small, weak penguin who has low health uses melee attacks with a pickaxe.
- Penguin Thug: A tougher penguin who has more health and uses stronger melee attacks with a baseball bat.
- Spear Hunter: A human who uses thrusting attacks with a spear.
- Penguin Bomber: A tiny penguin who has very low health but moves fast and carries a bomb, able to self-destruct if he gets near you.
- Rifle Hunter: A stronger human who carries a rifle and sometimes shoots a bullet at you.
- Machete Penguin: A penguin who carries a machete and performs melee attacks at a fast rate.
- Polar Bear Gunner: A polar bear who has high health and has the same attack behavior as a Rifle Hunter.
- Heavy Polar Bear Gunner: A more powerful version of the Polar Bear Gunner armed with a rifle that shoots bullets at a faster rate.
- Hunting Dog: A dog that chases after you aggressively and attacks by biting.
- Hunting Bird: A bird that attacks by divebombing you.
- Egg Bird: A less aggressive version of the Hunting Bird that mostly attacks by dropping explosive eggs, but will occasionally try to divebomb you.
- Penguin Shredder: An armored penguin who attacks with a chainsaw, able to do severe damage with his melee attacks.
- Penguin Sledder: A penguin who rides around on a snowmobile and throws snowballs at you.
- Penguin Mech: A penguin piloting a giant robot suit. Has very high health and shoots bullets at a fast rate.
- Heavy Penguin Mech: A stronger version of the Penguin Mech that has even higher health and shoots bullets at a faster rate.
Bosses[]
- Giant Penguin: An enormous penguin who alternates between chasing after you and throwing explosive snowballs at you.
- Sled Hunter: A human who rides around on a snowmobile with a buzzsaw attached to it.
- Polar Bear Commando: A polar bear who carries a gatling gun, able to shoot bullets at an extremely fast rate.
- Penguin King: A royal penguin armed with a magic sword. He alternates between shooting powerful magic blasts and chasing you around to try to hit you with melee attacks.
Glitches[]
- When you run out of health, the death animation for the penguin you play as doesn't always trigger, resulting in the penguin simply freezing up for a few seconds before the game over screen pops up.
