Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past, also known as Plamza Burst, is a shooter flash game developed by Eric Gurt and released on March 24, 2009.
Although Flash was discontinued on January 12 2021, Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past is still playable through BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint.

Gameplay[]
In Plazma Burst, the player controls a sci-fi marine whose home planet has nearly been destroyed be an alien race. When attempting to return to the planet with an ally, Noir Lime, the warrior is accidentally teleported to the wrong planet. The main objective of the game is to link back up with Noir Lime and get back to their own planet to save it.
The game features a total of 16 levels which for the most part, get more difficult as the game goes on. Plazma Burst can be played on three difficulties; easy, medium and hard, so the player can ultimately choose how difficult they want the experience to be. The player should make use of good lines of sight and cover to take out as many enemies from a distance as possible, at least until they obtain better weapons for close quarters combat.
Thanks to an on-screen reticle, aiming is relatively simple and the player can even line up shots to take out more than one enemy with a single bullet. Plazma Burst features a variety of different enemy types, including humans, androids and falkoks as well as a giant robot at the end of the game.

As the player completes levels, they will build up a stockpile of cash that can be used in between levels in order to buy weapons and upgrades. Below is a list of everything that can be purchased in the shop. All weapons can be upgraded three times with additional purchases in the shop.
