Super Monkey Poop Fight

Super Monkey Poop Fight is a platformer fighting game developed by Stephen Maddern. It involves a poop-flinging monkey who fights its way through the jungle, wiping out humans and animals alike as it tries to make its way home after escaping some poachers.

Controls[]

  • Left/Right Arrow Keys: Move
  • S: Jump
  • Down Arrow Key: Crouch
  • Up Arrow Key: Cling to ceilings/vines
  • A: Throw poop (can be thrown upward by holding Up at the same time)

Gameplay[]

Super Monkey Poop Fight has a series of levels played marathon-style; you play them all one after the other, and getting a game over presents you with the option to either retry the current level or quit to the main menu. Each level has an enclosed area inhabited by various enemies, and your goal is to defeat all the enemies using your weapon of choice - poop! Throwing poop requires energy from your poop meter, and each time you throw poop it depletes a small amount of the poop meter. To keep the poop meter from running out, you'll need to eat bananas that frequently spawn in order to make more poop. Once every enemy in the level is defeated, you get to move on to the next level.

Power-Ups[]

  • Yellow Banana: Refills your poop meter by a small amount. Spawns often.
  • Green Banana: Refills your poop meter by a large amount. Spawns less often.
  • 1-Up: Gives you an extra life. Spawns rarely.

Enemies[]

  • Blue Monkey: Has all the same abilities as you and will try to hit you with poop. Takes one hit to defeat.
  • Red Monkey: Same as a Blue Monkey but fights more aggressively. Takes one hit to defeat.
  • Poacher: Chases after you, trying to catch you with his net. He can also sometimes plant beartraps on the ground which kill you if you step on them. Takes three hits to defeat.
  • Hunter: Chases after you and tries to shoot you with his gun. Takes three hits to defeat.
  • Gorilla: Chases after you when it sees you, and beats you up if it catches you. Takes three hits to defeat.
  • Leopard: Sometimes falls asleep, but chases after you if disturbed or if it sees you while awake. Mauls you if it catches you. Takes two hits to defeat.
  • Parrot: Flies across the screen and sometimes drops bird poop that briefly stuns you if it hits you. Takes one hit to defeat.
  • Native Spearman: Chases after you and throws spears. Takes one hit to defeat.
  • Masked Spearman: Same as a Native Spearman but fights more aggressively. Takes one hit to defeat.
  • Piranha: Appears in levels with water, sometimes jumping out of the water and landing on a nearby platform. Eats you if you step on it. Is too small to be affected by your poop, but will go away on its own after a while.
