Tanks is a 2004 action Flash game developed by 2DPlay. It has you control your very own tank, pitting you against other tanks to be destroyed using a variety of different weapons.

Controls[]

  • Left/Right Arrow Keys: Move
  • Up/Down Arrow Keys: Aim cannon
  • Page Up/Page Down: Adjust firepower
  • Q/W: Change weapon
  • Space Bar: Fire

Instructions[]

You begin by selecting your desired map and configuring your players, which includes choosing the number of players, determining which ones are manually controlled and which ones are AI opponents, and setting the difficulty levels for the AI-controlled players. Once all that's done, the battle begins and all players take turns attacking each other; each player has to take aim at other tanks and try to land hits with the right angle and the right amount of firepower. The more damage you do to enemy tanks, the more money you earn towards buying stuff from the upgrade shop which can be visited between rounds.

Maps[]

  • Desert: A barren area that is relatively flat.
  • Forest: A woodland area that is moderately hilly.
  • Mountain: A snowy area with very large slopes.

In addition to these three options, you can also pick the Random option to have the game randomly cycle through all three maps each round.
