Territory War is a turned based fighting flash game that was developed by Afro Ninja Productions and released on March 21, 2006.
Although Flash was discontinued on January 12 2021, Territory War is still playable through BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint and through Armor Games, Crazy Games and Newgrounds using Ruffle.
Gameplay[]
In Territory War, two teams of stickmen in an arena must battle it out in a turn based war in order to eliminate all members of the enemy team to win. Although the amount of team members can vary depending on the game mode, the player can only control one member of the team per turn. When controlling a stickman, the player has a variety of options on how to use their turn. Firstly, they can choose to essentially skip their turn by choosing not to move their character or perform any actions. If the player does decide to move their character, they have a distance meter that begins to fill when they move their character. Once it gets full, the stickman stops and the player can choose an attack option.

If the player chooses to throw a grenade, they will be able to use the left and right arrow keys to move their stickman’s arms to control where to grenade will land. They must then press the space bar to throw the grenade or hold the space bar to throw it further. Grenades can deal heavy damage to enemies and teammates alike if thrown well and can even knock stickmen off of the map, resulting in an instant kill. If the player chooses to shoot, their stickman will pull out a rifle and the player can choose the direction and angle that the shot will be fired in and press the space bar to shoot. Players should aim for the head of enemies to deal the most damage with a gunshot. The final type of attack that a player can perform is a kick, which is useful when on of the player’s stickmen is stood next to a member of the enemy team. Once the kick attack has been chosen, the player can hold down the space bar for longer to increase the power of the kick.
The game features a main campaign that can be played single player as well as a custom battle mode on which two players can play against each other locally with the ability to choose an arena as well as how many stickmen are on each team.
