The Enchanted Cave

The Enchanted Cave is an RPG flash game that was developed by DustinAux and released on June 1, 2010.

Although Flash was discontinued on January 12 2021, The Enchanted Cave is still playable through BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint.

Information[]

There are 100 floors. There is a shop on the first floor, on floor 9, and on every tenth floor after floor 9.

Floors 25, 50, and 75 are loot rooms.

You begin the game with:

  • knife
  • cloth shirt
  • weathered work pants
  • leather boots
  • 500 HP
  • 30 MP
  • 100 gold

Controls[]

Move with the arrow or WASD keys.

Activate items and attack monsters by walking onto them.

Click M to mute the sound.

You can click on a monster before combat to see its stats, if you can.

Equipment Pane

You have the following equipment slots:

  • head
  • amulet
  • body armor
  • gloves
  • primary weapon
  • shield / offhand weapon
  • legs armor

The stats on the lefthand side:

  • strength (physical attack power)
  • defense (physical damage resistance)
  • intelligence (offensive magical power)
  • agility (battle speed)

Below the primary equipment stats are two sets of elemental stats: attack, and defense. These show how much you deal out or resist damage in each of the four elements.

Escape Wings[]

Escape wings are found on or after level 4, in a normal chest. When used, you're warped out of the cave. You keep the following items:

  • gold
  • artifacts
  • spells
  • stat increases from gems

Everything else is lost.

When you leave the cave in this fashion, you return to the shop before the last shop you visited. So if you warp out of the cave on floor 27, you would reenter the cave at floor 9.

You reenter the cave with the following items:

  • knife
  • cloth shirt
  • weathered work pants
  • leather boots

If you are wearing any artifacts that would fall in those slots, you still have the above items, but they're moved to your inventory.
